Cardiac rehabilitation is part of the Center for Cardiac and Vascular Services. It is prescribed for you by your doctor. After an acute cardiac event, many patients are worried about exercising and increasing their work. This setting will allow for your exercise tolerance to increase while on a cardiac monitor and having trained supervision. The sessions are one hour long and meet three days a week.
Services Provided
Cardiac rehabilitation provides outpatient rehabilitation after an acute cardiac event in a setting that is supervised by specially trained nurses and exercise physiologists.
